How do I verify my certificate? +
Every Westford certificate includes a unique Credential ID and a public verification URL. Anyone can visit that URL to confirm the credential's authenticity, the program completed, and the date of issuance — no login required.
Are Westford certificates accredited? +
Westford Polytechnic Institute is an independent professional education provider. Our certificates are professional credentials, not academic degrees. They are recognized by employers for skills-based hiring and are valued for career advancement in technical roles.
Do certificates expire? +
No. All Westford certificates are issued permanently and do not have an expiration date. The credential remains valid and verifiable indefinitely from the date of issuance.
What if I fail an assessment? +
You may retake any assessment up to three times within your enrollment period. If you do not pass after three attempts, you can contact student support to arrange an additional attempt or schedule a review session with your instructor.
Can I add my certificate to LinkedIn? +
Yes. Once your certificate is issued, you'll receive a "Add to LinkedIn" button in your student dashboard. This adds the certificate to the Licenses & Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile in one click, complete with the verification URL.
Is there a physical certificate option? +
Physical printed certificates are available for Specialization Certificate graduates and are mailed at no additional cost. Students completing Program Certificates can request a physical copy for a small shipping fee from the student dashboard.
